The Dundas Street Bakery carries on from a history of bakers in Napanee. For 72 years – since 1947 – there’s been a bakery in Napanee at the exact same spot it stands today.
From Durphy’s to Olsen’s to Hank’s to Len’s and now The Dundas Street Bakery…the tradition and craft of scratch baking using quality ingredients without preservatives or additives or fillers continues.
The occupation of “Baker” was conceived around 300BC by the Romans and the first baker’s guild was established in 168 BC in Rome.
